“What if we buy raw land?” We were in the middle of house hunting, losing hope by the minute that we would never find the right one for our family, when my husband, Justin, dropped this question on me. “What??” I asked, as if that was the most absurd question ever.
Tip 1: Find your Why
It’s so important to know WHY you’re making the change. For us, we wanted a deeper connection and ownership towards our food and nutrition. We craved the freedom and space to raise our kids in. We wanted to grow closer as a family.
Homeschooling gives us the flexibility to design our schedule to based on our current season of life. It teaches our kids to engage in our lifestyle and think creatively.

Raw milk is full of probiotics and enzymes that nurture a healthy gut microbiome. Although the high heat during pasteurization is meant to kill off the harmful bacteria in raw milk, it also destroys the good bacteria—the bacteria that our bodies need to keep our gut healthy, and in turn keep us healthy.
